Every time I come to deviantart there appears to be some new design / layout thing going on, hrmpf. I've had a little clear up, deleted a few old deviations that were crap basically. At the moment I'm concentrating on web related stuff rather than just fart arsing about with photoshop / cameras / pencil and paper / etc. so nothing to upload really.

It's been a while since I logged in, I seem to go months / years at a time... been a while since I updated anything, mind you it's been a while since I've had anything worth updating with :) Work is fun, in that I'm being made redundant so I've gone on a mission to get myself another job lined up... the proverbial jumping before being pushed... trying to get back into web design (why I gave it up in the first place is anyones guess) and so far I've had quite a fair amount of interest. Got a 2nd interview tomorrow, fingers crossed for that one but I've also managed to line up an interview for next week as well with a rather well known footbal

So, I love reading fantasy series... I'm not as die hard about it as some may be but I pretty much enjoy nothing else (apart from the occasional book that isn't fantasy... The Time Travellers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger springs to mind) - I'm afraid to admit that I've only recently discovered George R R Martin, but within the time it took me to read the first book in the 'a song of ice and fire' series, he crept right up there to the top slot with my favourite authors. I'm only onto the 1st part of book 3 (the hardback book being so large, it was split into two paperbacks) but so far I'm utterly hooked. The story is pretty much 'fantasy' with
